Kalamaki is a quieter relaxed resort ideal for family or romantic holidays. The beach forms part of Laganas bay and is a protected area for the endangered sea turtles. There’s a great selection of places to relax and enjoys and a host of live music at night.
Vasilikos is a relaxed resort in the southern part of the island. It has a very natural landscape with large areas of vegetation. It also hosts the 2 main beaches on the island for water sports – banana Beach nd St Nicholas beach.
A modern resort close to Zante Town with plenty to see and enjoy including some Venetian influenced sculptures and monuments. Built on a coastal road it is also very near to some popular clubs enjoyed by many locals.
Agios Sostis is a picturesque spot off Laganas Bay. This resort has kept it’s traditional charm and feel. A beautiful little village with old style tavernas and chapels dotted around, with it’s most eye catching feature being the stunning coastline, with easy access to Cameo island.
Alykes village was named after the salt works that used to operate there to provide the salt the island needed. Alykes nowadays is a widely renowned resort with a great sandy beach, a real tourist magnet during the summer
Alykanas it is a small, traditional village built around a church and a small marketplace, surrounded by fertile fields and many farms. Access water sports locally at the beach and enjoy local tavernas and bars throughout the day and night.
Another more historic and traditional resort, Keri boasts a beautiful landscape and is famous for it’s easy route by boat to turtle island, the incredible caves and cliffs and of course the lighthouse over looking the ionian Sea.
